GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare mean earnings (average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

Using the format provided by NHS England to make this calculation the average pay for GPs working in Crondall New Surgery in the last financial year was £28,508 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full time GP and 3 part time GPs. No locum GPs worked in the practice for more than six months.

As per the NHS England guidance these figures exclude income and expenditure from rent, premises costs, enhanced and extended services, dispensing, commissioning activities, education and training, medical reports and employers’ superannuation. As a practice we therefore believe this figure to be of little value, but are contractually required to publish it.
