Patients on regular, long term medication can have medication on repeat.
On the right hand side slip of the prescription is a list of the medications on repeat. If you are running low please tick the required drug and allow 2-3 working days for collection. Medicines can only be dispensed to patients living more than one mile from a chemist.
Repeat prescriptions require a review either six monthly or annually. Please book an appointment when requested to do so, as shown on your repeat script right hand side.
We regret that repeat prescriptions cannot be requested over the telephone.
Please allow a minimum of 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed.
For online prescription requests, we recommend that you download 'the NHS app' which you will find in the App Store. You can also access some appointment booking and view your medical record and immunisations in this way.
We no longer support 'Patient Access' requests although patients who use this method can continue to do so. Please note: the surgery staff do not run or manage these programmes, you need to contact Patient Access directly if you have any issues. Our advice would be to upgrade to the NHS App if having any issues with 'Patient Access'.
If you do not have access to any of these programmes, you can email the practice regarding your repeat medication until your access is set up - firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will need to allow a minimum of 48 hours notice, excluding weekends and Bank holidays.
