disabilityPatients with a disability of any kind

We have electronically operated automatic opening Front and Lobby doors at the practice.

We have an external ramp and hand-rails, and tactile paving to assist the disabled patient.

We have a disabled toilet with rails and a pull cord help alarm, as well as some medical equipment available for patients to use such as crutches, wheelchairs (on-site use only) etc. Please ask at reception for availability of equipment.
Our practice is certified 'Dementia Friendly'. Our staff are trained by the Alzheimer's society in how to help people with dementia, and our premises have been adapted for this purpose following their guidelines.
The Accessible Information Standard - please ask if you would like literature or information in other forms such as large print. We will attempt to accommodate your requests.
Hearing Loop - we have a hearing loop at reception. Please switch your aid to 'T' at the front desk to access. You can submit an eConsult (online GP consultation) if you would prefer this to a face-to-face visit. Please use the link on the home page or via the 'Appointments' tab above.
If you think we could do more to help patients with other disabilities or special needs, please let us know via email to nehccg.crondallnewsurgery@nhs.net
